Popular American social media personality Livvy Dunne could make a permanent return to gymnastics after over a year away from the mat.
Dunne called time on her college gymnastics career in an emotional goodbye to her fans after Louisiana State University was knocked out of the 2025 NCAA semifinal.
During her career she was the highest-paid college athlete with reported earnings of around $10million (£7.4m).
Following the semifinal she officially stepped away from competitive gymnastics having helped LSU's Lady Tigers win their first ever NCAA national championship title the year before.

"Time flies when you're having fun," Dunne said after nearly five years on the programme.
"Something said when you're enjoying yourself to the point that time seems to slip away from you. And that's exactly how the past 20 years of this sport has felt."
However, it appears the 23-year-old could soon make her return to the sport as she's shared footage of her back training at LSU after enjoying time pursuing a career in acting.
In a video posted to her TikTok, Dunne admitted that she was 'scared' to get back out on the mat, but it didn't take long to impress herself.
After performing some of her impressive old routines, she asked: "Why was that actually kind of good?"
Dunne continued to try out several of her LSU moves, before suggesting she could make the return permanent, saying: "So, I guess, your girl's still got it. Sixth year?"

Dunne has 5.3 million followers on Instagram and 7.9 million on TikTok and recently landed a major role in the recently announced reboot of 'Baywatch'.
As announced by Fox, Dunne will play a "highly enthusiastic junior lifeguard" called Grace in the 12-episode show expected to be released later this year.
She will star alongside another former athlete in Noah Beck, who played football for the Real Salt Lake Academy and has featured in the Soccer Aid charity game.
Stephen Amell, Shay Mitchell, Jessica Belkin, Hassie Harrison, Thaddeus LaGrone, Brooks Nader and David Chokachi will also star in the show.
Dunne reacted to the news by taking to X to write, "Time to get to work!!!".
