Lindsey Vonn has shared brutal footage of her journey back to America as she revealed her injury is 'more severe' than just a broken leg.
Vonn suffered a broken leg at the Winter Olympics following a nasty collision into her downhill run in Cortina on February 8.
She was airlifted to hospital, where she was diagnosed with a 'complex tibia fracture' in her left leg.
Vonn has undergone four surgeries following the disastrous crash in the women's downhill race.

She was discharged from hospital on Sunday and has since returned to the United States, where further surgery will take place on her leg.
The 41-year-old, who was racing just nine days after rupturing ligaments in her left knee, documented her taxing journey from Italy to the United States and issued a fresh update on her injury in the process.

She compiled footage of her leaving intensive care unit to an ambulance to a private plane to take her back home before being greeted by an ambulance to transport her to an American hospital (watch here).
Vonn also revealed that her 'leg is in pieces' and is a 'lot more more severe than just a broken leg' in a worrying update.
On Instagram, she wrote: "My leg is still in pieces...but I'm FINALLY home!"
The skier added: "Thankful to all of the medical staff who helped me get home and seriously looking forward to my next surgery when I get the X-fit out of my leg and will be able to move more.
"My injury was a lot more severe than just a broken leg. I'm still wrapping my head around it, what it means and the road ahead... but I'm going to give you more detail in the coming days.
"As always, I appreciate all the love and support."

Vonn's video comes after she revealed that she is yet to stand on her own feet after the crash.
"Haven’t stood on my feet in over a week... been in a hospital bed immobile since my race. And although I’m not yet able to stand, being back on home soil feels amazing," she wrote on X.
"Huge thank you to everyone in Italy for taking good care of me."
