Gordon Ramsay allegedly aimed what some have interpreted as a 'dig' at Adam Peaty’s family during his speech at his daughter, Holly’s, wedding.

Six-time Olympic medallist Peaty, 31, tied the knot with model Holly Ramsay, 25, at a ceremony at Bath Abbey on December 27.

Celebrity chef Gordon was as proud as punch as he walked his daughter down the aisle while several notable names, including the Beckham family, attended the wedding.

Holly’s two sisters, Tilly and Megan, were bridesmaids alongside Adam’s sister Bethany.

However, his sister appeared to be the only close relative from the Peaty family who attended amid an alleged ongoing family feud. Neither of Peaty’s parents attended the ceremony.

Adam’s mother, Caroline, spoke out about being snubbed from her son’s wedding in an interview with the Mail and described how she felt ‘hurt’ by the situation.

“This is the first Christmas that I’ve not had my family together – my family is broken,” said Caroline.

“Yes, I have my other grandchildren. Yes, I have my other children, but my family is split because of the goings on … because of the wedding.”

As reported by the Mirror, the feud is said to date back to the pair’s engagement party in 2024, when several members of Adam’s family were not invited, which allegedly prompted Adam’s mother to ‘confront’ Holly’s father Gordon.

Caroline also supposedly sent Holly a “polite and diplomatic” message raising the fact she was “disappointed” that her sisters weren’t invited to the engagement party. But this reportedly angered Adam.

“If this was my son treating Holly’s family like they are treating us, I would take him to task,” Caroline insisted, claiming she was blanked by Holly’s mother, Tana, following a message asking for answers about the situation.

Peaty’s mother also said she was shunned from her daughter-in-law’s hen do.

Just last month, Adam himself spoke out about the situation and said: “We just need people to be aware that there are always two sides to every story. To those of you who have reached out and shown kindness and understanding - thank you. It is deeply appreciated."

Fast forward to the wedding, and some have suggested that Gordon aimed a brutal dig at Adam’s family during a speech.

According to The Sun, the 59-year-old chef complimented his daughter on how beautiful she looked before joking that Adam was a ‘lucky man’.

The chef then allegedly added: "Look at Tana, and that’s what you have to look forward to,” before aiming a dig at Adam’s absent parents.

“Shame you don’t have the same,” he supposedly told Holly.

The Sun also suggested that Adam addressed the pain caused by the feud in his speech, crediting his swim coach, Mel Marshall, as someone who has been “grounding and inspiring” to him, before describing her as being “like a mum”.
