The chilling final post of a superbike rider who was killed in a horrific crash has emerged as a police investigation has been launched.
Owen Jenner, 21, and Shane Richardson, 29, were involved in a fatal incident that saw 11 riders fall on turn one of Monday's race at Oulton Park in Cheshire.
One rider reportedly lost control and skidded across the tarmac into another competition before a pile-up ensued, which was caught on live TV.
Medics raced onto the track before the event was abandoned.
Jenner, who had been competing for Rapid Honda, was taken to the circuit medical centre and given further resuscitation treatment but sadly passed away from a 'catastrophic head injury'.
Richardson, who was riding for Astro-JJR Hippo Suzuki, was also taken to the medical centre with 'severe chest injuries'.

Cheshire Police have since launched an investigation into the deaths 'on behalf of the coroner'.
"Police are investigating two deaths on behalf of the coroner following a multiple collision at Oulton Park this afternoon," they revealed.
"Emergency services were called to the scene following the collision which resulted in two riders being fatally injured and another with serious injuries.
"The Motorcycle Circuit Racing Control Board and MotorSport Vision Racing are investigating the full circumstances of the incident in conjunction with the Coroner and Cheshire Police."
A statement from the British Superbike Championship read: "Owen Jenner was initially treated trackside and then taken to the circuit medical centre, where despite further resuscitation treatment, he died from a catastrophic head injury.
"Shane Richardson was initially treated trackside and then taken to the circuit medical centre before being transferred to Royal Stoke University Hospital with severe chest injuries. He died prior to arrival."

"Sprint race was good. Bad start, went backwards quite a few positions," he said.
"But we managed to figure it out, get some good consistent pace going, matching the times with a few of the boys ahead of us.
"So yeah, looking forward to tomorrow, hopefully get a better start and be a bit more in the mix."
