Black Friday is here and if you're on the lookout for a bargain ahead of Christmas, Amazon might have just the thing for fans hoping to get their festive football fix.

If you’re sick of paying annual fees to stream DAZN and the kind of outlay required to tune into domestic and European football or NBA action on TNT Sports, then the good news is that a one-off purchase could see you stuffing some spare change back into your wallet.

By purchasing an Amazon Fire Stick this Black Friday, you can skip out on year-long subscriptions and instead enjoy a host of sports streaming channels when scheduling suits you.

The best part? This hack is completely legal and the device itself costs less than £35.

Amazon Fire Stick 4K - how much is it and what features does it have?

There is are currently a handful of Amazon Fire Sticks included in the e-tailer’s Black Friday bargain bin.

These include the cost-effective £27.99 version and another which is down to just £44.99 in the sale.

But to take advantage of this offer, you’ll want to take advantage of the popular £34.99 (was £59.99) model instead.

The item - called the Fire Stick 4K - gives users an ultra-cinematic experience, thanks to support from Dolby Vision, HDR10+ and immersive Dolby Atmos audio.

As well as supporting 4K streaming, the beloved Amazon item allows users to stream thousands of films and TV shows on Netflix, Apple TV+ and Disney+.

It also features Alexa Voice control and is compatible with devices like lights, thermostats and smart cameras.

How to legally stream sports on the Amazon Fire Stick 4K?

The Amazon Fire Stick 4K supports a wide range of streaming apps, including TNT Sports, DAZN and ESPN+.

Official apps can be downloaded from the Amazon app store and it turns out you can legally watch them all without a full contract.

This is by employing a method known as ‘leapfrogging’ - a hack The Mirror reported on earlier this year.

The idea is that instead of signing your money away on year-long contracts, you pledge your allegiance to particular streaming apps for a month at a time.

This cost-effective method is genius and can apparently save the average Fire Stick user a whopping £250 a year on streaming costs.

That’s assuming you’re using a streaming service for just three months of the year, of course.

Amazon Prime Video available on the Fire Stick

The Amazon Prime Video app is also available to download onto the Fire Stick 4K.

With the app, you can legally stream a whole host of upcoming Premier League fixtures.

This includes Manchester City’s home game against Nottingham Forest on December 4 and Bournemouth vs Spurs on December 5.

To take advantage of these live football fixtures, sign up for a free 30-day Amazon Prime trial.

After the introductory period, a monthly subscription costs just £8.99.
