Singer Jess Glynne has revealed the real reason behind why she didn't meet Alex Scott after the former England and Arsenal defender was eliminated from I'm A Celebrity.
Scott, who now works as a TV pundit and presenter on Football Focus and Women's Super League matches, was the first to be eliminated from the 2025 show on Friday night.
Not every celebrity was up for the public vote-off, with five celebrities having assured themselves of immunity by winning a challenge earlier in the week.

It was therefore between Scott, Aitch, Angry Ginge, Jack Osbourne, Martin Kemp, Ruby Wax and Kelly Brook to decide who would leave the Australian jungle first.

During her time on the show, Scott revealed that she is 'madly in love' with English pop star Glynne, and revealed plans to marry her after her time in camp was over.
Once a campmate is eliminated, they are usually greeted by a family member or close friend at the end of the exit bridge.

Viewers of the show might have expected Glynne to be the one to meet Scott, but the seven-time Women's FA Cup winner instead left the show alone.
After the show went off the air, Glynne took to Instagram to reveal the tragic reason why she did not fly to Australia.
She confirmed that her mother recently suffered a 'major stroke' and that she had stayed in the UK to look after her and provide support.m
"I know people will wonder why I wasn't there at the end of the bridge," she began. "So I wanted to share something personal.

"Over the last few weeks my mum suffered a major stroke and needed urgent brain surgery. It's been a really serious, life-altering time for my family, and I've had to stay close to home.
"Alex would always want me to be where I'm needed most. I can't wait to have her back by my side."
Glynne did appear on Friday's episode of ITV's 'This Morning', where she said: "I think she is showing who she is. She's been so true to herself.
"Who you're seeing is Alex. She's not a loudmouth, she's not gonna be that person. The conversations she's having, her bravery, and being true to who she is, that is coming across so well.
"I think she's doing well, but there is more for her to give.

"She struggles to have certain conversations anyway, and she's so private, but then you see that and I'm like, 'Wow, she's really feeling comfortable being away'. She's doing a good thing."
