I'm A Celeb Viewers Furious And Name 'Real Reason' Alex Scott Was Voted Out First

I'm A Celebrity viewers think they know the real reason why Alex Scott was the first campmate to be eliminated from the 2025 show.

Former England defender turned football pundit/presenter Scott saw her time in the jungle come to an end on Friday night's show.

She was one of seven celebrities up for the first public vote, with five campmates - Vogue Williams, Tom Read Wilson, Shona McGarty, Lisa Riley and Eddie Kadi - all earning immunity from the vote after winning a challenge.

Scott therefore is the first celebrity to leave the camp - though she will at least spend the remainder of the show in a five-star hotel off Australia's Gold Coast.

Her exit has received a mixed reaction online, with fans claiming that her lack of screen time compared to some other campmates was a key reason behind her early elimination.

The issue has always been prevalent the early days of each I'm A Celebrity series, with the pre-edited nature of the show meaning that, in most cases, not every campmate will receive the exact same amount of screen time.

One fan wrote: "Can't help but feel for Alex Scott. She just didn't get the airtime at all. Same six/seven people being shown."

A second agreed: "I'm A Celebrity done Alex dirty with editing, hardly got any screen time."

A third added: "Kelly has just said on Unpacked that Alex was the one that brought the games. So she obviously was doing more than what ITV chose to air."

While a fourth wrote: "Yep same as Martin [Kemp], nothing."

And a fifth said: "Suffered from a lack of airtime unfortunately."

Scott did at least get to compete in several Bushtucker Trials, with a new rule introduced for the 2025 series that celebrities could not do more than two trials in a row.

It was often the case in the past that the public would repeatedly vote for the same person to do every trial, with radio presenter Dean McCullough doing four consecutive trials at the beginning of the last series - some alongside others - but only earning 14 out of 40 available stars during that time.
