Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift 'set for new relationship milestone' described as 'major turning point'

Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift are set to take their relationship to a new level after dating one another for 18 months.

Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift could be set for a new relationship milestone in a few months, it has been claimed.

Kelce and Swift have been dating since 2023 and quickly blossomed to a leading celebrity power couple, with both superstars excelling in their respective fields.

Blank Space singer Swift has regularly supported her tight-end boyfriend at football games - most recently the Kansas City Chiefs' disappointing Super Bowl 59 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles at the Caesars Superdome last week.

Kelce also made a cameo on stage at Wembley Stadium for Swift's Eras tour, wearing a tuxedo and top hat.

But while they have been snapped by paparazzi in public on many occasions, including dining out in New Orleans to kick off the Super Bowl weekend, fans are still waiting for them to make their red carpet debut as an item.

Kelce was not present to accompany Swift for the 67th Grammy awards because he was preparing for the Super Bowl and so her plus one was friend Margaret Qualley.

But that could change in the near future, according to The Mirror. With Swift not touring this year and Kelce resting up after another long season, the outlet believes the Met Gala in May could be the first event where pair dress up on the carpet.

The theme for the fashion event is 'Tailored for You' as part of the 'Superfine: Tailoring Black Style' theme, with Lewis Hamilton, A$AP Rocky, Pharrell Williams, Colman Domingo and Anna Wintour appointed co-chairs.

Kelce has retirement decision to make

Rumours about Kelce retiring from football have been rife in recent times off the back of the Super Bowl loss. Even though he has a contract for the 2025 season, Kelce is carefully considering his options and will no rush into making a decision.

"I know everybody wants to know whether I’m playing next year and, right now, I’m just kicking everything down the road," the three-time Super Bowl winner said on the New Heights podcast with brother Jason.

"I’m kicking every can I can down the road. I’m not making any crazy decisions. I’ve been fortunate over the past five, six years I’ve played more football than anybody.

"The fact that we keep going to these AFC championships and these Super Bowls, that means I’m playing an extra three games more than everybody else in the entire league. That’s a lot of wear and tear on your body.

"I think I owe it to my team-mates that if I do come back, it’s going to be a whole-hearted decision. Not half-assing it. I’m fully here for them and I think I could play. It’s just whether or not I’m motivated or it’s the best decision for me as a man, as a human and as a person to take on all of that responsibility."

It has been reported that the Chiefs have given Kelce a deadline of March 14 to decide whether he will keep on playing - with the date aligning with when Kelce is entitled to a $11.5 million bonus.
