Philadelphia Eagles star spotted mocking Taylor Swift with 'pathetic' five-word hoodie that will anger Travis Kelce

The NFL star was keen to rub up Kansas City Chiefs fans and Swifties the wrong way.

Philadelphia Eagles star CJ Gardner-Johnson wore a provocative hoodie mocking Taylor Swift in the aftermath of her Kansas City Chiefs boyfriend Travis Kelce being on the losing side at the Super Bowl.

The NFL season-ending match took place last weekend at the Caesars Superdome in New Orleans as the Chiefs took on the Eagles at Super Bowl LIX.

The Chiefs were the favourites to emerge victorious and win an unprecedented third Super Bowl in a row.

However, Kelce's side were unable to follow up their triumph against the San Francisco 49ers 25-22 last year and versus the Eagles 38-35 the campaign before after their opponents produced a stunning performance to win 40-22.

Pop star Swift was in the crowd to watch her boyfriend Kelce in action, but the defeat meant a fourth Super Bowl title for the 35-year-old has eluded him.

In the aftermath of the defeat, the tight end has admitted he is considering whether to retire from NFL action.

He said: "I know everybody wants to know whether I'm playing next year and, right now, I'm just kicking everything down the road.

"I'm kicking every can I can down the road. I'm not making any crazy decisions.

"I've been fortunate over the past five, six years I've played more football than anybody.

"The fact that we keep going to these AFC championships and these Super Bowls, that means I'm playing an extra three games more than everybody else in the entire league. That's a lot of wear and tear on your body."

For the Eagles though, they have been busy celebrating their second Super Bowl crown and it included a parade through the streets of Philadelphia.

And Gardner-Johnson has been particularly notable with a dispute against Chiefs star Kelce which has extended to targeting his girlfriend Swift.

Following the Eagles' victory over the Chiefs, Gardner-Johnson shared a picture on social media of him squaring up to Kelce with the words 'Should've Stayed with that thick s****', which has been interpreted as a reference to Kelce's former girlfriend Kayla Nicole, whom he dated between 2017 and 2022.

But Gardner-Johnson has taken this feud to another level as he wore a custom-made hoodie with a crude message targeting fans of pop star Swift.

It read 'Swifties can LIX my balls' - with LIX being Roman numerals for the number 59, which was the number of the Super Bowl title the Eagles claimed by beating the Chiefs last weekend.

Some have found the message to be humorous, while others on social media have slammed it.

One wrote: "Pretty low."

Another posted: "Pathetic."

One user wrote: "That is so not cool."

And another posted: "Disgusting behaviour. Rude and despicable. What the hell were you thinking?"
