The world’s biggest sporting event is back, as the Kansas City Chiefs prepare to defend their winning title against the Philadelphia Eagles at the 2025 Super Bowl.
Last season, the Missouri squad famously became the first team to win the Super Bowl two years running since the New England Patriots back in 2004. Now, all eyes will be on the Kansas City Chiefs, led by quarterback Patrick Mahomes, to see if they can make it a hat-trick.
Hoping to make sure that doesn't happen are the Eagles with NFL's leading rusher Saquon Barkley leading the way. Millions of sports fans are expected to tune in, especially as Taylor Swift is expected to be in attendance to cheer on the Chiefs' tight end Travis Kelce.

The Super Bowl LIX will take place at Caesars Superdome on Sunday, 9 February 2025. The highly-anticipated event is scheduled to kick off at 11.30pm UK time with the half-time show expected at around 1am.
The big night should be worth staying up for with a performance from 17-time Grammy Award-winning rapper Kendrick Lamar. He famously featured as a guest performer with Dr Dre and Snoop Dogg back in 2022 and will be joined by SZA for his solo debut this year.

Meanwhile, Louisiana local and five-time Grammy Award winner, Jon Batiste, will perform the national anthem.
