A New York Giants fan has spoken out after being accused of 'stealing Patrick Mahomes' headband' from a 10-year-old boy.
The incident took place after the Kansas City Chiefs defeated the Baltimore Ravens 37-20. Following the win, Mahomes walked over to the stands to give his headband away.
He leaned towards a young fan in the crowd, who was celebrating his tenth birthday, and Mahomes looked to hand it to him. But as the quarterback reached out his arm, a woman reached across and took it.
The moment was caught on camera and quickly went viral. In the clip, the young boy said: "Yo, she just stole that from me."

The woman has since been identified as Nina Miller, a New York Giants supporter.
She admitted to taking the headband, but denied having stolen it, adding that she intends to pass it on to the child.

In a TikTok video, she said: "Guys, I just want to talk to you for one minute from my heart. At the game, with all the noise and all the excitement, I honestly thought that Pat Mahomes was giving me the headband. I reached for it without thinking.

"Later I found out that it was meant for that little boy for his 10th birthday. When I found out I felt horrible, because I don't want to ruin anyone's little time at the game and ruin their little birthday.
"To the young boy, I'm sorry that I ruined your moment. You should have had your moment for your birthday."
However, many fans were not convinced by her explanation. Many NBA fans argued online that Mahomes was clearly aiming to hand the headband to the child, not to her.
Miller also revealed that she had received a wave of online abuse since the clip went viral.

She added: "I just wanna address one more thing. I've seen the comments, some of them are cruel, even hard.
'But I'm human guys, and I make mistakes. I'm not perfect, but I'm also a mum and I'm also a Christian, and I'm admitting when I'm wrong and I'm trying to admit what I did wrong to make it right."

She added: "Sorry to everyone, But I'm sorry most of all to you, son. I'm sorry to Joey. I'm sorry I ruined your day, it wasn't my intention. I swear it was not my intention, I apologize deeply."
Despite the apology, Miller has been labelled 'Giants Karen' across social media.
Many have criticised both her actions at the game and a video she posted on TikTok defending herself.
Miller said in one video she wanted 'TikTok to do its thing' and unite her with the boy and his family so she could send him the headband.
