Miss Universe reportedly 'broke up' with her NFL star boyfriend for a rather bizarre reason.
Former NFL quarterback Tim Tebow has been outspoken about his Christian faith since he first burst onto the scene in 2010.
The 37-year-old would regularly fall to one knee on the field in order to pray while playing, resulting in the coining of the term 'Tebowing'.

His parents were Baptist missionaries in the Philippines, and his religion has clearly shaped his sporting career.
However, it has started to have an impact on his romantic life too.
The former Denver Broncos and New York Jets star was previously in a relationship with former Miss USA Olivia Culpo.

The 33-year-old from Rhode Island is best known for winning Miss USA 2012 and Miss Universe 2012.
The pair appeared to be the perfect couple, but Tebow's faith reportedly got in the way of things.
The New York Post [via Voice] reported that Culpo left Tebow due to his unwillingness to have sex with her.

Tebow famously admitted that he was saving himself for marriage during an interview in 2009, and he supposedly could not be tempted to break his vows.
During another interview on OutKick’s "Don’t @ Me with Dan Dakich," in 2023, Tebow said: "I would just say what Jesus has done for me is everything. So, my faith hasn’t really cost me anything. My faith in Jesus and what Jesus has done for me has given me everything. It’s given me a real hope.
"It’s given me a meaning. It’s given me a purpose for being. It’s given me a hope of heaven. It’s given me a joy for life. It’s given me a love for people. Even in the midst of my mistakes and shortcomings and failures in life, that I’m not defined by my scars – I’m defined by His."
He added: "I’m just grateful for everything that he’s done in my life and hopefully the things He’ll do in the future. I don’t look at anything that’s happened to me as my faith has cost me. The only thing that it’s done is that it’s given me real meaning and purpose in life and I’m so grateful for that."

Since the breakup, Tebow has had a successful career in sports media, while Culpo married San Francisco 49ers running back Christian McCaffrey in 2024.
The two American footballers are not the only famous faces Culpo has dated over the years.
She has also been in a relationship with Disney Channel star Nick Jonas.
Jonas' band, The Jonas Brothers, famously wore purity rings in an attempt to show that they would save themselves for marriage.
