Police Footage Shows Chase With Marshawn Kneeland Before His Death

The Dallas Cowboys defensive linesman died aged 24.

New footage has shown the police chase with NFL star Marshawn Kneeland before his sudden death.

In a tragic announcement, NFL team Dallas Cowboys confirmed that defensive end Kneeland had died at just 24 years old.

He had made seven appearances in the 2025 season, with his last match being on Monday, November 6 against Arizona Cardinals.

Shortly after Kneeland's death was confirmed, local police released a statement confirming that he had been found dead from an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound after a vehicle chase that led to the American footballer fleeing the scene of a crash.

And now, footage of the chase has emerged showing police pursuing Kneeland as he drove his Dodge Charger at dangerous speeds, before chasing him on foot.

In their official statement, the Frisco Police confirmed: "A man was found deceased from an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound following an outside agency vehicle pursuit that led to a multi-agency search in Frisco.

"On November 5, 2025, at approximately 10:39 p.m., the Frisco Police Department responded to assist the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) with locating a vehicle that had evaded troopers during a pursuit that entered the city of Frisco.

"After losing visual of the vehicle, troopers located it minutes later, crashed on southbound Dallas Parkway near Warren Parkway."

In footage released by Texas Department of Public Safety, via TMZ, police officials are seen chasing of the Dallas Cowboys star he dangerously weaves his car in and out of traffic.

The video then shows police spotting the crashed Dodge Charger and exiting their vehicles to begin searchin for Kneeland on foot, with other footage showing the NFL player fleeing the scene of the crash on foot.

The report claims that Kneeland was allegedly driving up to 160MPH while driving his car before colliding with another vehicle and veering off the road.

Police quickly noticed an empty holster inside the vehicle, leading to fears that he could be armed.

K-9 units and drones were used in the search for Kneeland, with his girlfriend arriving at the scene but refusing to reveal his location out of fear he'd kill himself if discovered.

In other footage include in the article, officers can be heard discussing "goodbye" messages that Kneeland had been sending loved ones, sparking further concerns about his safety.

Tragically, the police eventailly found Kneeland's body in a portable toilet after the NFL player appeared to take his own life with a self-inflicted gunshot.
