The wife of Kansas City Chiefs owner Clark Hunt has released an emotional statement following the tragic loss of a family member as a result of the devastating Texas floods.
At least 28 children are among the 68 dead in Kerr County after flash flooding swept through Texas.
Rescue efforts have focused on Kerr County's Camp Mystic, a Christian summer camp for girls on the banks of the Guadalupe River.
Authorities say 10 children and one counsellor are still missing.

Hunt's wife, Tavia, has revealed that Janie Hunt - a young cousin in the family - was among the Camp Mystic campers who died during the floods.
She took to social media to share the news of the sad passing.
"Our hearts are broken by the devastation from the floods in Wimberley and the tragic loss of so many lives – including a precious little Hunt cousin, along with several friend’s little girls," she wrote on Instagram.
"How do we trust a God who is supposed to be good, all knowing and all powerful, but who allows such terrible things to happen - even to children?

"That is a sacred and tender question - and one the Bible doesn't shy away from. Scripture is filled with the cries of those whose hearts have been shattered, who still wrestle to trust the same God they believe allowed the pain."

According to Fox News, Janie was the great-granddaughter of late billionaire William Herbet Hunt, who was the brother of Hunt's late father Lamar Hunt.
Other confirmed deaths at the summer camp include Renee Smajstrla, 8, Sarah Marsha, 8, Eloise Peck, 8, and Lila Bonner, 9.

Camp Mystic director Richard 'Dick' Eastland, 70, is reported to have died while trying to save girls as a month's worth of rain dropped in a matter of minutes.

One week before the floods, the camp shared videos of the campers having fun during their first team chorus and dance production.
The youngest campers slept on low-laying 'flats' inside the camp's cabins and older girls slept in cabins on higher ground, according to the New York Times.

Most of the missing girls are from the younger age bracket, who were sleeping just yards away from the banks of the Guadalupe River.
