A 3D simulation of Steph Curry and LeBron James taking part in a 1vs1 match has emerged as the age-old GOAT debate continues.

Curry, 37, has so far played for the Golden State Warriors for the entirety of his career, winning the NBA on four occasions.

Meanwhile, James has played for the likes of the Cleveland Cavaliers, the Miami Heat and currently, the Los Angeles Lakers.

Like Curry, James has also won the NBA four times.

Both players are often regarded as two contenders in the NBA GOAT debate, alongside the likes of Michael Jordan and Kobe Bryant.

A 3D simulation has since predicted the result of a 1vs1 match between Curry and James.

As per the video posted on Ecalz90 Sports Simulation, Curry scored the first point of the match as the pair produced a close encounter.

Towards the end with the score tied at 14-14, James scored late to make it 15-14 before winning the game 17-14. You can watch the footage below.

Speaking previously, NBA great Jordan, who won six NBA titles during his stunning career, picked out James as someone who could play in any era.

Jayson Williams, who played nine seasons in the NBA, had a recent conversation with Jordan about how James would fare in their era.

Speaking to Brandon 'Scoop B' Robinson, Williams said: "Different eras. I asked Michael this when we played golf about five months ago, and he said, 'LeBron James could play in any era'."

"He’s an unbelievable player," Jordan said of 'King' in a press conference in 2020.

"He’s one of the best players in the world, if not the best player in the world. I know it’s a natural tendency to compare eras to eras and it’s gonna continue to happen. I’m a fan of his. I love watching him play.

"But as you can see, our league is starting to expand on very talented players. And I think he’s made his mark. He will continue to do so over a period of time, but when you start the comparisons, I think it is what it is. It’s just a standard of measurement. I take it with a grain of salt. He is a heck of a basketball player without a doubt."
