Michael Jordan has 'named' the one NBA star who could play in any era.

Jordan is widely regarded as the NBA GOAT following his legendary career with Chicago Bulls.

He won six NBA championships in the 90s, completing not one but two three-peats during his time with the Bulls.

Jordan's talent on the court would have seen him transfer his incredible skillset in the current era, which features Steph Curry.

Curry is regarded as one of the best point guards in NBA history, with Shaquille O'Neal agreeing with Jordan on the only player who compares to the Golden State Warriors star.

Not to mention LeBron James, who is still going strong at the age of 40.

James is in the NBA GOAT conversation, with 'MJ' claiming he could play in any era.

Jayson Williams, who played nine seasons in the NBA, had a recent conversation with Jordan about how James would fare in their era.

Jordan said the current Los Angeles Lakers ace could play in any era.

Speaking to Brandon 'Scoop B' Robinson, Williams said: "Different eras. I asked Michael this when we played golf about five months ago, and he said, 'LeBron James could play in any era'."

James has won four NBA championships with three different teams - Miami Heat, Cleveland Cavaliers and the Lakers.

He's highly thought of by Jordan, who previously called him an 'unbelievable' player.

"He’s an unbelievable player," Jordan said of 'King' in a press conference in 2020.

"He’s one of the best players in the world, if not the best player in the world. I know it’s a natural tendency to compare eras to eras and it’s gonna continue to happen. I’m a fan of his. I love watching him play.

"But as you can see, our league is starting to expand on very talented players. And I think he’s made his mark. He will continue to do so over a period of time, but when you start the comparisons, I think it is what it is. It’s just a standard of measurement. I take it with a grain of salt. He is a heck of a basketball player without a doubt."
