Basketball GOAT Michael Jordan admitted the damning reason why he does not watch the modern NBA after his retirement.
The 62-year-old has been long retired from basketball for more than two decades but his legend endures thanks to a memorable spell on the court during the 1980s and 1990s.
Jordan last played in 2003 after ending his career with the Washington Wizards and is a six-time NBA champion following his time with the Chicago Bulls and was crowned the MVP in the NBA Finals a total of six times.

Jordan's appeal extended way beyond the NBA though thanks to ventures off the court which made him a global icon.
He collaborated with Nike on its iconic Air Jordan sneakers which helped to propel him into mainstream culture, as did his exploits on the big screen by appearing in the 1996 film Space Jam.

After a career which spanned around 20 years in the NBA, you might have imagined that MJ would still be a keen viewer of games of the sport where he made his name.
But you would be wrong on that front as the legendary figure admitted a damning reason why he does not watch modern NBA games.
And he pinpointed his critical nature of the game is why he refrains from tuning in anymore and that he would play basketball differently to how modern players do and are overlooking aspects that are naturally more obvious to his keen and experienced eyes.
As per Basketball Network, he said: "I try not to watch as much because I'm so critical of how the game's being played.

"How the kids are playing the game, how I would play it totally different. That's just my competitive nature about watching the game that I truly love.
"I've taken a great pride in trying to enhance what I play the game.
"Not that the kids are not enhancing the game, I think they're overlooking a lot of the things that in old age or in maturity, I can see a lot more."
