NBA legend Michael Jordan has no doubts over who the most underrated players of his era are.
With an impressive six NBA championships and several personal accomplishments throughout his 15 season career, Jordan is widely considered to be the greatest NBA player of all time.
During his accomplished career, 'His Airness' shared the court with some of the best to ever do it, including players like Kobe Bryant, Shaquelle O'Neal and Larry Bird.

But there are five players that played during Jordan's era that he argues haven't been given the praise they deserve.
Scottie Pippen stood alongside Jordan for each of of his NBA championship winning seasons with the Chicago Bulls, with the two men sharing the court together an incredible 691 times.
And, according to online publisher Finest Magazine, Jordan considers Pippen to be among the most underrated NBA players of the basketball legend's era.

However, since the American retired, he has been outspoken in his criticism of Jordan, saying that he didn't enjoy playing alongside him.
"Our game is a team game, and one player can't do it," he explained to former teammate Stacey King in an episode of the "Gimme the Hot Sauce" podcast.
"I’ve seen Michael Jordan play before I came to play with the Bulls. You guys have seen him play. He was a horrible player. He was horrible to play with. It was all 1-on-1, shooting bad shots. And all of a sudden, we become a team, and we start winning. Everybody forgot who he was."
Jordan also named four other players who he thought were underrated in his era, Tom Gugliotta, Bobby Phills, Mookie Blaylock and Mitch Richmond.

Gugliotta failed to win an NBA championship during his career but enjoyed spells at several of the top teams in the NBA, including Washington Bullets, Minnesota Timberwolves, Phoenix Suns and Boston Celtics.
Phills missed out on winning a NBA championship during spells with the Cleveland Cavaliers and Charlotte Hornets.
Despte being rated as one of the best defensive stoppers in the game, Blaylock fell short of the title while playing with the New Jersey Nets, Atlanta Hawks and Golden State Warriors during his NBA career.
