LeBron James agreed with Steph Curry on the player who was the toughest defender he has faced in the NBA.

James and Curry are among the greatest players to play in the NBA, having delivered on a consistent basis over the years.

'King James' is still going strong with the Los Angeles Lakers while 'Chef Curry' is producing the goods for the Golden State Warriors.

James and Curry are in the NBA GOAT conversation, but they don't always have it their own way on the court.

During an interview on the TODAY Show, Curry revealed the three toughest defenders he has faced in his career, which included a mix of current and former players.

He named Boston Celtics guard Jrue Holiday and Tony Allen, who won the NBA championship with the Celtics in 2008.

Not to mention Metta World Peace - formerly known as Ron Artest.

Metta World Peace and Curry didn't come up against each other many times on the court, but he left an impression on the legendary point guard.

"There’s a group of three that always... the lightbulb went off when they were on the court," he said. "It’s Jrue Holiday, Tony Allen, and Ron Artest, actually. I didn’t get to play too many games against [Artest], but he had the strongest hands you’ve ever seen in your life."

Like Curry, James also singled out Metta World Peace and hailed his hand-work and strength.

When asked to name the toughest defender he has faced in his NBA career, he replied: "Yeah, Ron Artest. Metta World Peace now. Really good with his hands, laterally was really good, strong as an ox.

"We played a game in my early years when he was in Indiana, I mean, it was challenging for sure. One of the best defenders probably I’ve played against. I had to go straight back to my early days. Ron definitely had you like, OK, this is what the league is about. OK, let's continue to lock in. This is a hell of a test for you as an 18-year-old kid out of high school with a target on your back. I was like, yeah, I love this. This is awesome."
