The young fighter spent almost the entire first round on Rodriguez’s back attempting to secure the rear naked choke.
Fortunately for ‘CeeRod’ he showed fantastic defence to keep himself from suffering a first-round submission loss.
Rosas Jr. seemed to have emptied a lot of the tank in the first round with Rodriguez looking in control for the majority of the second and third round.
The American looked to drain his young opponent by maintaining back control for the second and third.

Incredible effort by an 18 year old Raul Rosas Jr. Imagine being 18 and being on that stage. Lessons learned ad he’ll be back better next time.
