Tom Aspinall has provided an update on the condition of his right eye after he was poked by Ciryl Gane during their UFC 321 fight.
Aspinall was competing inside the Octagon for the first time since July 2024, while he was defending his UFC Heavyweight Championship for the first time.
But the fight was waved off as a no contest in the first round when Aspinall was poked in both eyes by Gane - an act that was ruled as accidental.

In his post-fight interview inside the Octagon, Aspinall was left furious at the poke, claiming that it was 'knuckle deep' by the Frenchman.
"I just got poked knuckle deep in the eyeball," he told the crowd in attendance after sections could be heard booing him.
"Why are you booing? I can't see. I can hardly open my eye. Look! It was a double eye poke."
Aspinall's right eye was covered as he left the arena - but the Brit has posted a video diary of the fight which shows part of the extent of the damage he incurred.
"It was way scarier than what I did to my knee," he said. "Because with my knee, I knew it was going to be alright. I still don't know how this is going to be.
"We're just waiting for further results. We've got to do more tests in the UK. Flying back today, and we'll go from there. I'm not sure when I'll be ready to let everyone know what's going on.

"Thank you for all the support. See you soon."
Aspinall showed footage of him inside a medical room, with his eye patch removed.
Although there was no indication as to the damage suffered at this stage, the Brit could be heard saying: "It's nearly black. Yeah."

Another clip showed Aspinall receiving a series of eye drops which cause him visible discomfort, which the doctor tells him are for his retina.
He also noted that he was suffering from blurred vision in the right eye.
Aspinall's father, meanwhile, said: "It's a horrendous thing to think as a parent. I know what it's like these days with people saying what they want.
"But when it's your son, and they could lose an eye, and their health, and they've got children to look after. Something needs doing about it. It's horrendous to look at [the eye poke incident]."
