Tom Aspinall has revealed a major detail about his upcoming two fights after he secured the heavyweight championship due to Jon Jones' retirement.
Jones and Aspinall had been in talks to set up a heavyweight championship fight, but the former kept refusing. After months of talks, Dana White even gave the two fighters a deadline and eventually just a few days later the UFC President announced Jones' retirement.
Right after being announced as the champion, Aspinall revealed in a video that he wanted to defend the title regularly. In his recent interview on Diary Of A CEO, the Atherton native also revealed what to expect from his championship reign.

Aspinall reveals key details of next two fights
The Brit fighter held the interim title for over a year before being crowned the undisputed heavyweight champion.
Aspinall's last fight was in July 2024 and it was against Curtis Blaydes, which he won in the first round itself.

However, now after being crowned the heavyweight champion, Apsinall plans on being active and revealed the possibility of fighting twice before the end of 2025.
"I'm going to be fighting hopefully twice this year, that's my plan," said Aspinall. "I think I've wasted enough time now, we're looking for a quick fight booked and it's looking like it's going to be pretty soon anyway and then hopefully goes well in the first one, I'm uninjured which is easier said then done."
The champion also revealed that his next fight would be announced soon and also gave a hint about a few contenders who could be in the running to face him.

Aspinall said: "I've actually fought most of the guys in the Top 10. One of the guys I've not fought is Ciryl Gane.
"I was actually chasing that fight a few times before, he was ducking and diving around himself a little bit, so he is due a little bit of a beating off me, I look forward to that.
"Couple of more guys down the ranking, a Brazilian guy Jailton Almeida I've not fought, there's a guy I've already beat Alexander Volkov, who's doing really well for himself as well, so who knows."

Gane recently expressed his thoughts on a potential fight with Aspinall for the title.
"My manager talked to the matchmaking, with Hunter [Campbell] I know they work on it this week, and we keep in touch.
"Nothing fixed yet, we’re just waiting for more discussions and maybe a location and date. We are really confident of this fight happening," told Gane On UFC Unfiltered.
The French fighter last beat Alexander Volkov in December and if his fight against Aspinall gets confirmed it will be a great watch for everyone.
