He also taught the US marines Brazilian jiu-jitsu, having made a name for himself as a submission artist following his 10 submission wins in his MMA career.
After going through his paces and showing the US marines his skills on the ground, Pimblett challenged 10 of them to a jiu-jitsu bout.
And it's fair to say, the Liverpool fighter took no prisoners as he showed off his world-class skills.
Pimblett rolled with 10 US marines and submitted each and every one of them.

From triangle chokes to rear naked chokes - he forced every US marine to tap.
An impressive feat considering the 30-year-old wasn't in fight shape and was carrying a bit of extra weight as he was out of camp.
Speaking after his gruelling experience, Pimblett showed his respect to every US marine and joked about scrapping his three-mile run that he had pencilled in for his trip.

"I have the balance of a ballerina lad and weigh like a f**king sumo wrestler," he said, lying on the mat absolutely exhausted. "You know what I mean, I’m a weirdo lad, proper weirdo.
"F**king hell lad yous have made me do a big crazy circuit then I’ve f**king rolled every one of yous. What the f**k boys? Meant to be doing a three-mile run today, it’s not happening now. Lad, this has been one of my hardest workouts this week, you gang of big b**tards."
Pimblett has won seven UFC fights in a row since joining the MMA leaders. He recorded the biggest win of his career in his last outing.
He stopped Michael Chandler in the third round of their lightweight clash at last month's UFC 314 in Miami.
