Paddy ‘The Baddy’ Pimblett has revealed the reason he has yet to appear on the Joe Rogan Experience despite requests from UFC fans.
Pimblett, 30, is quickly becoming one of the most popular stars in the UFC and has captured the attention of fans and Dana White with his exciting performances in the octagon and eccentric personality outside of it.
The Liverpudlian has already set his sights on taking on the very best in the sport, such as current lightweight title holder Islam Makhachev and long-time foe Ilia Topuria, whom he recently branded a “b****nd and a liar” in another exclusive interview with SPORTbible.

And one way of raising your profile, which can then benefit a fighter’s career both in the US and around the globe, is making an appearance on Rogan’s podcast.
UFC stars such as Israel Adesanya, Jon Jones and Topuria have all featured on the show, but Pimblett has yet to make an appearance despite fans’ requests.
But there’s an explanation.

When speaking to SPORTbible, on behalf of casino.org, the 30-year-old opened up about the reasons why he has not sat down with Rogan.
"I think anyone who Joe asks to go on there would be willing to do it,” Pimblett explained.
“It's the most listened to and viewed podcast in the world.
"We've talked about it in the past, but I've never been in Texas to be able to go and do it with him.

"You could see it in the near future or distant future, but I think at some point, yeah, I'll end up on the Joe Rogan Experience.”

There’s no doubt that Rogan admires Paddy, as he even suggested that the scouser uses a secret weapon to ‘trick’ his opponents during bouts.
“Paddy is a big lightweight,” Rogan said on a recent episode of the ‘Joe Rogan Podcast’ alongside Cameron Hanes.

“I know he gets real fat in between fights, but he’s big. He’s a lot bigger than people think.
“I always say he tricks people by dancing and having silly hair. That’s a killer. He’s tricking you; he’s like one of those bugs that pretends it’s a stick, and then he attacks you."
Paddy Pimblett's retirement plan
Pimblett also revealed what he plans on doing once he hangs up his gloves, and it may not be what you'd expect.

Given his love of food, you are probably expecting him to open a restaurant or ‘scran gaff’ as the man himself would say, but instead, he revealed how he would like to feature in movies.
"I've always said that I want to be in movies," the lightweight revealed.
"I've always loved watching TV and movies, and I've always thought about being an actor. It's definitely something I want to move into when I'm finished.
"I'll have to speak to Tom Aspinall too; we just filmed some stuff for his YouTube channel. We'll have to do that a bit more often, a bit like what Mighty Mouse (Demetrious Johnson) has started, maybe.”
