Maycee Barber has made a frightening claim after she was viciously knocked out by Alexa Grasso at UFC Fight Night 271 on Saturday.
The fight between the pair hadn't reached the one-minute mark before Grasso landed a brutal left hook to the side of Barber's head.
The 27-year-old was sent crashing to the canvas, with Grasso locking in a rear naked choke before the referee waved the match off.
Barber laid motionless on the canvas for several minutes while she received urgent medical treatment, having instinctively wrapped her arms around the legs of the referee after being knocked out.

She was able to get to her feet to hear the final result being called, and her partner Oscar Herrera later took to Instagram to confirm that she was 'okay' after treatment in hospital.
Barber has now broken her silence in a video statement on Instagram, revealing that she 'doesn't really remember a whole lot' about the night as a whole - while underlining just how serious the KO impact was.
"I wanted to come on here and say thank you to the UFC, thank you to Alexa for the opportunity," she began.
"I wanted to go out there and get my opportunity to get my rematch, and dominate, and get the win back. Unfortunately, that was not the night. I got caught. Alexa did an amazing thing, she's a phenomenal fighter.
"I don't really remember a whole lot. All I know is that every time I go on social media, I look like I'm dead. And that's not a very fun thing to stay, so I'm trying to stay off social media.

"But I wanted to come on here and at least tell you guys that I am okay, and I will be back. God is good, all of the time. On the highs on the lows, he's good all the time, and he'll continue to be good.
"Thank you guys for the love and support. I know I've gotten a lot of texts and messages and everything. I've not responded to you all and I'm very sorry about that - it's very hard because I don't remember a whole lot."
Grasso, a former UFC Flyweight Champion who also works as an analyst for UFC Espanol, spoke of her concern for Barber in the immediate aftermath of the KO but added that it is 'part of the sport'.
"It was both [KO and submission victory]. I think it was both," she told reporters.
"It's part of the sport. You know that it's always like that. I just wanted her to wake up as soon as possible."
