A UFC fighter has urged Dana White to make a major rule change that would stop Alex Pereira from fighting for the promotion.
Several fighters earned a UFC contract following their victories at Dana White's Contender Series 78 on Tuesday, including Josh Hokit.
He won a UFC contract after stopping Guilherme Uriel via TKO in the second round of their heavyweight clash.
Hokit, a former tight end for NFL side the San Francisco 49ers, delivered a bizarre post-fight interview as he named the people that he wants to fight next, listing rapists, sex traffickers, murderers and paedophiles.
"Me and my new business partner, Dana White, have decided to get rid of this unentertaining heavyweight division, and instead, we’re going to create 'The Incredible Hok' division, but my, but my opponents won’t be these lazy, boring, heavyweights," he exclaimed. "My opponents will be sex traffickers, pedophiles, rapists, hell you can even throw the transgenders in there. Line them all up, and one by one, I give them a good ol’ American beatdown inside the octagon to show the world that there’s consequences for these types of behaviors in America."

He said fighters should be able to speak English to compete in the UFC as he took aim at the heavyweight division.
"I see all these heavyweights getting cut," he began.
"They bring nothing to the table. A lot of them are just overweight fat guys. Their fights are boring. They don’t even speak English."
Hokit added: "I feel like that should be a criteria, you speak English, and then you can be in the UFC. That’s how I would run it."
Well, if UFC obliged (they would never), then that would rule out a series of stars, including former UFC middleweight and light-heavyweight champion Pereira.
The Brazilian knockout artist is one of the biggest stars in the UFC and has a huge fanbase even though he doesn't speak English.
His coach Plinio Cruz is often by his side and translates for him.
Pereira returns to action in October when he rematches UFC light-heavyweight champion Magomed Ankalaev, who dethroned the 'Poatan'.

Pereira and Ankalaev are among many fighters who don't speak English in the UFC, but it hasn't stopped them from becoming stars.
