Controversial UFC fighter who called out Joe Rogan draws bizarre sketch 'proving' planet doesn't rotate

The MMA fighter was recently the subject of mass media attention after he made several controversial comments.

A UFC fighter is so convinced that Earth is flat that he penned a sketch to ‘prove’ his point having previously challenged Joe Rogan to a debate on the topic.

Bryce Mitchell is a name which many UFC fans will know for his controversial comments outside of the octagon rather than his obvious talent inside it.

Mitchell, 30, who competes in the featherweight division, was the subject of mass media attention in recent weeks after he made anti-Semitic and homophobic comments on a podcast and even appeared to praise Adolf Hitler, describing him as a “good guy” who “fought for his country”.

His comments were widely condemned, with UFC president Dana White slamming Mitchell for his absurd take.

“I’ve heard a lot of dumb and ignorant shit said over the years, but this is probably the worst,” White said in a statement.

“First of all, when you talk about Hitler, he was responsible for the death of 6 million Jews and it was his intent to completely eliminate the Jewish people.”

“Hitler is one of the most disgusting and evil human beings to ever walk the Earth, and anyone that even tries to take an opposing position is a moron,” White added.

“That’s the problem with the internet and social media. You provide a platform to a lot of dumb and ignorant people.”

And he has once again left fans scratching their heads with a ‘theory’ about Earth not actually rotating having previously said it was flat rather than a sphere.

Mitchell posted a video – which you can view below - on his Instagram page and explained why, in his opinion, Earth doesn’t rotate via a sketch.

However, this is not the first outlandish theory which Mitchell has put forward.

Back in October 2022, he took to Instagram and called out UFC commentator and podcaster Rogan.

Rogan, 57, regularly engages in debates about several 'theories' but does not appear to agree with Mitchell's opinion on the shape of the planet.

“I'm here to call out Joe Rogan for talking c*** about me and talking c*** about my mama, he’s been doing it too long," said Mitchell.

“Me and my mamma will tell you right now this earth is flat. It ain’t moving around at no 6000mph, spinning at 1000mph and floating through the universe constantly.

“This earth is flat, it’s fixed, and the stars rotate around us, the sun rotates around us. I can prove that!"

“I would love to debate you Joe Rogan because I’m tired of you making fun of Flat Earthers," he added.

"If you’re so confident come and debate me buddy because I’m tired of this stuff that you’re posting."
