Dana White has ruthlessly cut a contender from the roster just days after missing weight at UFC 319.
The UFC brought a loaded card to Chicago, Illinois, last weekend as a championship bout between Dricus Du Plessis and Khamzat Chimaev headlined the event.
Chimaev delivered a flawless performance as he dominated Du Plessis to capture the UFC middleweight title.
In the co-main event, Lerone Murphy, who goes by the moniker of 'The Miracle', flattened Aaron Pico with a devastating spinning elbow to seemingly land a title shot against Alexander Volkanovski.

Carlos Prates also bagged a spinning elbow KO as he stopped Geoff Neal in their welterweight contest.
Baysangur Susurkaev, who was making his UFC debut on just four days' notice, secured a big win on the undercard as did Alexander Hernandez.
But before UFC 319 took place at the United Center, a series of fights collapsed, including a proposed 185lbs contest between Bryan Battle and Nursulton Ruziboev.

The bout was scrapped after Battle missed weight during the official UFC 319 weigh-ins.
He tipped the scales at 190lbs for his middleweight clash.
After missing weight by a massive four lbs, the UFC removed Battle vs. Ruziboev from the bill.
Battle has since been cut by the UFC after failing to make weight.

It's not the first time the 30-year-old has struggled to make weight.
He missed weight for his welterweight showdown against Randy Jackson last December.
The American came in heavy, weighing 175lbs.
So, Battle has missed weight in two different divisions in back-to-back fights, with White letting him go.

Speaking before UFC's decision to cut him, Battle said he would understand if he was released.
"Regardless, no matter what happens, I know I’m still one of the best on the planet, so I know I’ll be back," he told Ariel Helwani.
"If I have to go out, whoop some ass, prove myself, and show that I can still do it and still make weight, then that’s what I’ll go do. I’ll come back and fulfill my potential, but I’m in a place right now where I don’t feel entitled to anything.

"I would understand [if UFC releases me]. If they’re kind of gracious, I’ll be extremely thankful for that. But this is just a time where I must focus on the day-to-day."
'The Butcher' had nine fights inside the famed Octagon, winning seven of them.
He beat the likes of Takashi Sato and Kevin Jousset, with both victories earning him a Performance of the Night bonus.
Battle was involved in a no contest with Ange Loosa and suffered hie lone UFC defeat to Rinat Fakhretdinov.
