Conor McGregor has seemingly confirmed his UFC White House event return as he makes a $100m demand.

In June next year, the UFC will stage a historic event at the White House to celebrate the 250th anniversary of the United States. The weigh-ins are set to take place at the Lincoln Memorial, before fighters prepare inside the White House itself.

And the Octagon will be placed on the south lawn for one of the most unique fights in history. UFC boss Dana White has revealed that a temporary venue will be constructed at the president's official residence, with capacity for around 5,000 spectators.

White also confirmed that he wants McGregor to be one of the headline names for the event. And now the Irishman has made his demands clear for what would be his first fight since 2021.

On X, McGregor wrote: "The Champ Champ returns! Just over eight months to UFC White House.

"I look forward to seeing my body shape up. My shot selection refining. My masterpiece to be painted."

He added: "$100million to fight at the White House along with 100 U.S “Golden Visas” for myself and family and friends

"I look very forward to entertaining the fighting world once again. A pleasure I never take for granted!"

McGregor's announcement has led to more speculation over what big names they could attract, with Jon Jones also hoping to be involved.

If the plans go ahead, it will be the first ever professional sporting contest to be held at the White House.

What has Donald Trump said?

Trump and White have been friends for more than 20 years. and Trump even hosted some of the earliest UFC events.

During a speech in July, Trump first publicly discussed hosting UFC at the White House.

He said: "We're going to have a UFC fight, think of this, on the grounds of the White House. We have a lot of land there."

Speculation has continued to grow surrounding the plans for the event, with AI-generated images of the plans released earlier this week.

White spoke to Fox News about his vision for the event.

He added: “My vision for this thing is we have this big arch, as you can see, with the lighting grid. Because what I want is the White House in the back.

"And then when the fight goes around to the other side, you’ll see the Washington Monument in the background.

“We’re going to have a stage where music – we’ll have bands playing all day. And then people will be able to bring blankets and lay around and watch the fights.

“We’ll have screens up everywhere for everybody. We’re literally going to take over Washington, D.C. that week.”
