Conor McGregor places his most insane bet yet while watching UFC 308, it would return MILLIONS

Conor McGregor has revealed what bets he has put on ahead of the main events at UFC 308.

On Saturday night, all eyes will be on the Etihad Arena in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates as UFC 308 takes centre stage.

The main event of the night will be a mouth-watering clash between Ilia Topuria and Max Holloway, as well as co-main event Robert Whittaker vs Khamzat Chimaev.

Ahead of the big fights, UFC star McGregor took to social media to reveal his insane bets.

The Irishman has backed Whittaker to beat Chimaev by knockout and has also put money on Holloway to knock out Topuria.

McGregor posted a picture of his bet slip and wrote: “$500k returns $17.2m!”

Reacting to his bet on social media, one fan said: “Love this!! Max and Whitaker for the win. Late rounds KO for both of them.”

Another tweeted: “Holy s**t. Good luck, man!”

A third fan added: “That's an incredible return on investment!”

Prior to the main events, Sharaputdin Magomedov got the better of Armen Petrosyan in a middleweight bout and Lerone Murphy won against Dan Ige in a featherweight fight.

Speaking ahead of his fight against Topuria, Holloway said: “At the end of the day, styles make fights. He has a fun style. I have a fun style. Thinking of his fight style, it brings a smile to my face. I love being in these fights. I love being the underdog. And I can't wait to see what he's all about come October 26th.

“The Blessed Era been in effect. The Blessed Express been rollin'. We have the opportunity, we have the chance to be two-time featherweight world champion. I can't wait, man. I can't wait.”

He added: “I can't wait to hear 'And New' and get my hand raised. I guess it'll balance out the world again. The world's off-balance right now. Get that title back, and bring back balance.

“First things first. It's Ilia Topuria come October 26th. I'd be dumb, I'd be stupid to overlook this man. At the end of the day, after the fight, if everything goes well, ask me the question, 'cause right now he has my full focus.”
