UFC legend Conor McGregor dreading his mum watching one specific scene in Road House film

UFC legend Conor McGregor dreading his mum watching one specific scene in Road House film

Conor McGregor is starring in Road House alongside Jake Gyllenhaal.

Conor McGregor will star in an MMA-film alongside Hollywood star Jake Gyllenhaal but isn’t excited for one scene to be shown to his mum.

McGregor has transcended the sport of MMA completely since his meteoric rise in the UFC.

The Irishman secured both the UFC featherweight and lightweight titles before fighting Floyd Mayweather in boxing - one of the biggest sporting events in history.

UFC fans are still eagerly anticipating McGregor’s return to the Octagon but filming against Gyllenhaal in Amazon Prime’s Road House remake has kept the 35-year-old busy while outside of the cage.

McGregor will play the role of ‘Knox’, the enemy of main character Elwood Dalton who will be portrayed by Gyllenhaal.

His acting debut has already earned rave reviews ahead of the film’s official release on March 21 but McGregor has highlighted one scene in particular that he isn’t looking forward to his mum watching on the big screen.

It has been confirmed the MMA superstar will bare his backside in one scene which had left him worried ahead of the premiere.

“I have my mother coming in for the premiere tomorrow and she has no idea! I'm a bit nervous about it but excited,” he told The Sun US.

“I had a great crew of people with me, a great cast and they were very patient with me.”

He also joked his five children would be banned from watching the flick, stating: “Obviously, they can't watch and never will, to be honest. I'm nervous about my mother seeing it.”

McGregor was visited by Hollywood legend Arnold Schwarzenegger during his training camp for UFC 189 where he defeated Chad Mendes and still holds a close bond with the star of Terminator.

He said: “Arnold Schwarzenegger, who’s a good friend of mine, his lady Heather is my physical therapist, [she] has helped me throughout my career, helped me from my world title from 2013 on, I became real close with Arnold.

“Arnold’s first debut into the movie game was very similar. Boom, lands down, solid as a rock. If Arnie done it, and f****** look at his career, I said maybe I’m onto something. I just rocked with it, and I channeled the inner Arnie, the inner Terminator there and just rocked on.”
