Alex Pereira produced a masterful performance to beat Jamahal Hill in the first round at UFC 300.

Pereira landed a devastating left hook before finishing Hill on the ground to defend his UFC light-heavyweight title.

He secured the stoppage victory following a brief exchange with Herb Dean after Hill kicked him in the groin.

Pereira, who won the UFC middleweight title before losing to Israel Adesanya, successfully defends his championship, having captured the vacant title after beating Jiri Prochazka last November.
