Paddy Pimblett's wife has shared a horrific image of his face following his five-round war with Justin Gaethje at UFC 324.
Gaethje edged out Pimblett in the main-event of last weekend's UFC 324, claiming the interim UFC lightweight title in the process.
'The Baddy' showed his heart and toughness as he absorbed a serious amount of damage, with Gaethje issuing a telling remark following their Las Vegas clash.
The defeat to Gaethje was the first of his budding UFC career, having won seven straight fights since joining the MMA leaders from Cage Warriors.

Despite his gruelling fight, Pimblett walked away from the Octagon without any major injuries.
But he looks completely unrecognisable as his wife posted a shocking image of his face following UFC 324.

Laura took to social media to pay tribute to her husband after the UFC star's Fight of the Year contender.
She posted a series of images on Instagram, accompanied with the loving message: "Forever proud of you. Love you so so much."
Pimblett could be seen wearing sunglasses in some of the pictures in Laura's Instagram carousel.
But one image showed him without sunglasses, showing off the battle wounds from his UFC 324 title bout.
His eyes were extremely swollen as he sported a pair of nasty-looking black eyes.

Pimblett himself was also active on social media as he released a message in the wake of his UFC 324 defeat.
"Hope everyone enjoyed my fight just as much as I did," he wrote. "Want to thank everyone that came to support and everyone watching at home. I’m all good, no injuries, went into the fight feeling amazing had a great camp and an easy weight cut. No excuses the better man won on the night. Justin Gaethje, congratulations brother it was an honor to share the cage with such a legend. Go get that undisputed title, your career deserves it.
“Hopefully we can run it back for the undisputed because I still know it’s in my destiny to win that gold! UFC thank you for the opportunity. You’s all know I’ll be back for that belt in the near future."
