Nate Diaz and Jorge Masvidal will face off in a boxing match at 2am on 7 July and it will be streamed on DAZN here.

Nate Diaz has already fought, and lost, against Jorge Masvidal after the two met in the Octagon at UFC 244. That fight was for the BMF championship but, this time around, the fight will take place in the boxing ring.

The MMA fighters will switch sports for a 10-round light-heavyweight boxing match at Honda Center in Anaheim, California which has already seen its fair share of controversy. It has already been moved from an original date of 1 July to avoid a clash with UFC 302, while Diaz was embroiled in a bizarre incident in the build-up to the weekend’s bout.

At the press event, Diaz launched an expletive-filled rant after a streamer asked him if he was going to retire once he was beaten in the ring.

A furious Diaz proceeded to go off on an expletive-filled rant, threatening to kick his leg. "It's little s*** kids like this b**** that are changing the times," he added.

The streamer later shared posts on X, formerly Twitter, claiming he was chased from the venue for asking the question.

Both fighters have taken part in professional boxing fights before with mixed results. Diaz lost to Jake Paul in August last year in a unanimous decision, while Masvidal has not fought in the ring for 19 years after his victory in a majority decision over Joseph Benjamin.
