Mark Zuckerberg has built an 'octagon' in his backyard for Elon Musk fight, shares message from his wife

Mark Zuckerberg's wife had a priceless reaction to him building an 'octagon' in his backyard ahead of a potential UFC fight against Elon Musk.

A blockbuster MMA bout between two of the world's most high-profile technology billionaires has been mooted.

And it appears the Meta boss has ramped up his training by building an 'octagon' in his backyard.

But his decision to construct UFC's battleground has angered his wife, Priscilla Chan, who didn't appreciate the move.

Chan sternly wrote back: "Mark." To which Zuckerberg said: "We have plenty of yard space!"

She added: "I have been working on that grass for two years."

Zuckerberg also added a poll with the question: "What's the Play?" with the options "Keep the octagon" or "Save the grass".

Talks of a clash between Zuckerberg and Musk continues to intensify, with UFC featherweight champion Alexander Volkanovski recently training with the Facebook chief.

"I guarantee you, you guys would be very surprised," said the Australian fighter.

"I'm telling you he's serious. I don't know how serious Elon is, but I'm telling you, he's training!"

UFC president Dana White also hyped up Zuckerberg vs. Musk, predicting it'd break all pay-per-view records.

"It would break all pay-per-view records," he revealed.

"These guys would raise, you know, hundreds of millions of dollars for charity and, you know, you don't have to be a big fight fan to be interested in this fight.

"Everybody would want to see it."
