Brandon Moreno clashed with a reporter when asked if he wanted to fight on the UFC White House card in an apparent dig at Donald Trump.
Moreno returns to action at this weekend's UFC card in Mexico City.
He's looking to get back in the win column following his TKO defeat to Tatsuro Taira at UFC 323 in December.
The Mexican star faces Lone'er Kavanagh in the main-event and a win would put him back in the conversation of a UFC flyweight title fight.

A win over Kavanagh, who is stepping up on only three weeks' notice, could see him land a big next fight that may end up on June's White House card.
Moreno could get the call-up for the White House show given he is a big name and has a high ranking (No.6).

But the 32-year-old has no interest in fighting on the South Lawn as he was involved in a heated exchange with a reporter at his UFC Media Day.
Asked if he would raise his hand for the White House card, he replied: "Brother, I want you to tell me why I would want to be there."
The reporter replied by calling it a 'very special' event.
Moreno hit back: "For what?"
To which the journalist replied: "For the company?"
The ex-UFC champion returned fire, saying: "For you? I'm not interested. Thank you very much."

Moreno's comments towards the White House card seems to be a dig at Trump, who has come under fire for his second administration, having sanctioned immigration crackdowns across the country led by US Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).
The US president also got involved in the ongoing situation in Mexico as he told officials to 'step up' their efforts to combat cartels even after military operations killed drug lord 'El Mencho'.
Meanwhile, UFC flyweight champion Joshua Van defends his title against Moreno conqueror Taira at UFC 327 in April.
A win over Kavanagh would see Moreno return to the title picture and given the shallow division, he may not be too far away from another crack at UFC gold.
