Conor McGregor's priceless reaction to awkward Khabib question, Bruce Buffer done him dirty

Conor McGregor's priceless reaction to awkward Khabib question, Bruce Buffer done him dirty

Bruce Buffer trolled Conor McGregor with a Khabib Nurmagomedov question.

Conor McGregor was inadvertently trolled by Bruce Buffer as he made a Khabib Nurmagomedov reference during the latest episode of The Ultimate Fighter (TUF).

The latest series of TUF is close to wrapping up, with McGregor and Michael Chandler taking part in the coaches challenge.

They squared off in a Q&A about UFC history whilst being in an ice bath, with Octagon announcer Buffer asking them questions.

One of the questions saw the legendary UFC figure ask Chandler about McGregor's crushing defeat to Nurmagomedov back in October 2018.

Of course, the Irishman succumbed to 'The Eagle' in their UFC lightweight championship bout at UFC 229, suffering a devastating submission defeat.

Buffer asked Chandler: "In which round did Conor submit to Khabib at UFC 229?"

McGregor produced a hilarious reaction as he muttered under his breath, cutting a quizzical look.

The American answered correctly as he went for option A, which was round four.

McGregor is expected to meet Chandler upon his UFC return, having coached opposite him.

But he's talked up a clash against BMF champion Justin Gaethje, who stopped Dustin Poirier in sensational fashion at UFC 291.

However, UFC president Dana White insists Chandler is next for McGregor despite him hyping up a potential showdown against 'The Highlight'.

"I talked to Conor, either yesterday or the day before, and yeah, he’s ready to fight," he said.

"I said, 'Listen, get in shape and let’s figure this out.'"

Asked if Chandler will be welcoming McGregor back to the UFC, White replied: "Definitely Chandler.

"He likes to f**k with everybody. You know what I mean? Especially his opponent, or possible opponents."

Just like McGregor, Chandler is also coming off a defeat to Poirier, having lost their UFC 281 bout last November.
