Ronda Rousey is 'in talks' for a stunning comeback fight to take place in Las Vegas next year.
Rousey hasn't fought in the UFC since her crushing 48-second defeat to Amanda Nunes at UFC 207 in December 2016.
She joined the WWE after her legendary MMA career, having paved the way for women's MMA in the UFC after convincing Dana White, who was originally against the idea of women competing inside the famed Octagon.
Rousey left the WWE in 2023, with a return to the UFC mooted - in particular a spot at next year's proposed White House card.
And it appears she will make her comeback to the fight game but not in the UFC.
According to Boxing Scene's Lance Pugmire, Rousey is in 'active negotiations' to face Katie Taylor in a boxing bout in Las Vegas.
The mega-fight is being pegged as a summer event in 2026.

Taylor vs. Serrano then headlined their own card at New York City's iconic Madison Square Garden in July.
Given the success of Taylor vs. Serrano as a headliner, along with the intrigue in Rousey, 38, returning to action, the fight is being pursued as its own main-event on Netflix.
Taylor is regarded as a pioneer in women's boxing.
She bagged a gold medal at the 2012 Olympics in London before transitioning to the professional ranks.
The 39-year-old, who is promoted by Matchroom chief Eddie Hearn, has won 25 of her 26 pro bouts, including three victories over arch-rival Serrano.
She also avenged the first loss of her pro career to beat Chantelle Cameron in 2023.

"I’m not too sure - waiting to see what happens," she told reporters. "I’m ready to fight whenever, really, and take on whatever challenge comes next. Right now, I’m waiting to see what that is. Any of the big names, any of the big fights - I’m ready to take on them all."
