Nate Diaz has posted a picture of himself "taking a p**s" outside the UFC Performance Institute building as contract talks with the promotion continue to frustrate.

The 37-year-old Ameican hasn't picked up a win since his victory over Anthony Pettis in August 2019.

He suffered a TKO defeat to Jorge Masvidal in a 'BMF' bout at UFC 244 and then lost to Leon Edwards last June in a crazy finish which saw 'The Stockton Slugger' connect with a huge left hand with only a minute to go.

Diaz, who only has one fight left on his current deal, has been strongly linked with several match-ups in recent months, including showdowns against Dustin Poirier and more recently, Michael Chandler.

But a fight has failed to materialise as his inactivity from the octagon continues – a fact Diaz is clearly unhappy with.

In fact, back in March, a frustrated Diaz told UFC president Dana White to release him from his contract at the MMA promotion having failed to land a big fight.

"I would like to request to be released from the UFC," he wrote on Twitter, tagging the UFC and White. "I apologise for asking online but you don't give me a fight asap, I got sh*t to do."

Now, in another Twitter post directed at the company, Diaz has posted a picture of himself urinating outside the UFC headquarters as contract negotiations continue.

"Taking a piss on the ufc pi," he wrote. "I could do this cause I get paid more than all uguys and they won’t cut me."

Earlier this week, following Michael Chandler's emphatic win over Tony Ferguson at UFC 274 [if you haven't seen that mega-clean front kick on Ferguson's chin, then go and check it out], Diaz asked for a welterweight fight against Chandler on July 30.

Following the bout, the 37-year-old wrote on Twitter: “July 30th 170lbs."

Chandler quickly responded: “I’m there. Quick turn around. Spin your head on its axis. @natediaz209" before posting again.

“Hey @natediaz209 …shut up and stop complaining. Keep your mouth shut. Keep your head down until your daddy books a fight for you to get your sacrificial dome bounced off the canvas again. Maybe it’ll be me…if you’re lucky. See you at the top!”

There seems to be plenty of names to go at for Diaz. In fact, the 'fight card' for UFC 273 in Las Vegas was accidentally leaked last week and he featured on the poster.

If the leak is true, then Diaz will make his long-awaited return to the octagon against Khamzat Chimaev.

Israel Adesanya and Jared Cannonier also feature alongside clashes between Sean Strickland and Alex Pereira, Lauren Murphy and Miesha Tate as well as Pedro Munhoz vs Sean O'Malley.

Who would you like to see Diaz face next?
