Former world's strongest man Eddie Hall knocks opponent out cold in the craziest 2v1 MMA match

Former world's strongest man Eddie Hall knocks opponent out cold in the craziest 2v1 MMA match

Highlights from the main event involving Hall are going viral.

Eddie Hall, the former World’s Strongest Man, made his MMA debut in a 2-on-1 handicap match on Friday night – and he produced a quite remarkable knockout to secure victory.

The 36-year-old retired strongman travelled to the King George’s Hall in Blackburn to take part in an event put on by the World Freak Fight League.

Here, he featured on a card alongside numerous celebrities, influencers and athletes, including former Cage Warriors lightweight champion Chris Fishgold.

In truth, it was an unconventional line-up of fights – and Hall was involved in the main event against The Neffati Brothers, who have more than 19 million followers on TikTok.

“The Beast” looked understandably cagey in the opening rounds as the two men darted around the cage, trying to avoid a man who was crowned the World's Strongest Man in 2017.

But as you can see from the insane footage below, Hall delivered a brutal powerbomb in the third round, picking up one of the brothers who attempted a single-leg takedown.

After tossing him across the ring, Hall had eyes for the other brother. In fact, he showcased his boxing prowess by producing an inch-perfect right hand to floor his opponent unconscious.

The referee stopped the bout with 27 seconds remaining of the third and final round, and moments after one of the brothers was removed from the contest, the Brit secured victory.

Check out the scenes below.

Here's how social media reacted to the scenes.

One fan said: "Might be the greatest highlight of all time," while another commented: "I have seen enough, his UFC heavyweight run STARTS NOW."

A third wrote: "I watched this way too many times."

A fourth said: "Not only did Eddie Hall use to be the world's strongest man, if you watched that boxing match he had with Hafþor Björnsson, he can actually box. Not like good enough to be a high level pro, but he's actually good."

A fifth added: "Alright, I don't know a ton about MMA fights and all, but wouldn't it be a bit more fair to have a 2v1 fight with a weight class say one step down from Eddie instead of what (I'm guessing here) seem to be lightweights? Or was this just a fight to get people watching?"
