The Rock's Eyes Almost Popped Out Of His Head While Watching Michael Chandler KO Tony Ferguson

Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson almost spat out his drink during Michael Chandler's knockout of Tony Ferguson.

The Hollywood megastar was watching UFC 274 from the comfort of his living room when he, like the rest of us, witnessed one of the best KO's of the year.

Chandler's insane front kick to Ferguson's face sent MMA fans into meltdown and The Rock couldn't quite believe what he'd just witnessed either.

Now the wrestling legend-turned-actor's hilarious reaction has gone viral online.

"Let me tell you something, you can feel the electricity and the mana through the TV," The Rock says while watching the event.

"I can just imagine how it is in this arena. Let's f**king go, boys! Cheers."

He then goes to sip his drink, probably some sort of delicious protein smoothie, but almost ends up spitting it out as he sees Chandler's right foot connect with Ferguson's chin.

Incredibly, The Rock's eyes also go so wide as he tries to digest what on earth had just happened.

In the video posted on his Instagram, the camera then pans out to show the television where Ferguson is seen lying facedown on the canvas out cold.

He then flips the camera back onto himself to show his stunned facial expressions.

"Holy s**t," he adds.

The WWE icon only posted the clip less than 24 hours ago and it has already racked up over 250,000 likes as well as millions of views on Instagram alone.

Both Chandler and Ferguson took to the comments section too.

Chandler said: "Life is all about moments and it’s all about timing."

While Ferguson replied: "Respect. Thanks coach. I'll be back."

ESPN, the official broadcast partner of the UFC, also shared the brilliant video on their social channels but fans weren't sold by the legitimacy of it and called out The Rock's antics.

One bloke commented: "Staged... good act."

While another added: "He could've rehearsed this reaction a few more times."

As former UFC champion Henry Cejudo waded in, saying: "Is it me or I’m slowly losing my King of cringe crown?!"

Fake or not, at first glance it looks pretty legit.

The Rock is clearly an MMA die-hard and has been a major part of the UFC promotion in the recent years.

Back in 2019, Johnson was on hand to present the BMF belt to the winner of Jorge Masvidal and Nate Diaz at UFC 244 at Madison Square Garden.

The UFC also recently announced its partnership with the WWE Hall of Famer on a new footwear deal, with all fighters and corner people supplied with Project Rock shoes or slides.
