Oscar Piastri has revealed how his conversation with Lando Norris went after the McLaren teammates crashed in the final lap of the Singapore GP sprint race.
The Singapore Grand Prix sprint race ended in dramatic fashion on Saturday afternoon as reigning Formula One champion Norris collided with teammate Piastri while trying to overtake on the last lap, forcing the Australian to retire.
Norris received massive backlash both from fans and pundits for the move, with many blaming the British driver for the incident, but Piastri himself has revealed that, after chatting with his teammate, the matter is now resovled.

Immediately after the race, a clearly angered Norris was quick to defend himself, claiming that it was a big gap that he had every right to go for, despite many fans disagreeing.

The crash meant that Norris went from P5 in the sprint race down to P8, costing him three points, while Piastri was ruled out of the race just seconds before he would have crossed the line in P4, taking home five points.
Despite this, when he was later asked about the moment, Piastri revealed that, after a chat with his teammate, he was completely fine with Norris and was simply disappointed that the incident cost McLaren a total of seven championship points.
"Yeah, we had a chat about it. it is what it is. it was a shame to not have points for the team, but we'll be good, we'll be fine, and we'll keep going forward," Piastri told reporters.
One man who wasn't quite so happy to forgive Norris however, was team principal Andrea Stella, who fumed at his star driver during a post-race interview with Sky Sports.
"It's been a long day. The Sprint race was a race that was giving us some good points, in a moment in which we are not in condition to win. Still, we were in condition to score good points.
"And we saw two McLarens having contact, basically going out of the race. Lando could score one point, but definitely that's not enough.
"Seeing two McLarens making contact like that is simply not acceptable.
"This is something that we will discuss with our drivers. We will do it in private. We will reiterate that the team interest is far bigger than any of us. There's no ego, there's no person that's bigger than the interest of the McLaren F1 team. This will be reiterated."
During the qualifying session for the main race, Norris secured a P5 start while Piastri will start slightly behind in P7.

Lando Norris 'told off' for Piastri crash at Singapore GP
Although Norris insisted that believed he was in the right for making the move, he later admitted that he had apologised to Piastri and been 'told off' by the McLaren hierarchy.
"As a team we all spoke about it. I apologised but that's all you need to know," Norris bluntly told Sky Sports F1
When later pushed by Sky Italy, he added: "I was told off."
