F1 CEO’s staggering 2025 payout revealed to be four times Gianni Infantino’s annual salary
F1 CEO Stefano Domenicali’s eye-watering 2025 payout has been filed via Companies House, and the whopping figure is four times that of FIFA President Gianni Infantino’s annual salary.
Domenicali has led Formula 1 as President and CEO since January 2021, after a seven-year reign as Ferrari’s team principal.
His staggering annual payout was revealed in a Companies House filing, and accounted for more than half of the £13.3 million paid to Formula 1’s executives.

According to FIFA, the Swiss President’s gross base salary is around £1.95 million, while his variable salary is approximately £1.6 million.

Infantino is also permitted just under £18,000 in flat-rate allowances, per FIFA’s annual compensation breakdown for 2025
In breathtaking contrast, Domenicali’s annual salary, as listed on Companies House, is £7.999 million, or $10.5 million.
FOM’s 40-page filing outlines board compensation for Formula 1’s directors, alongside operational growth and ongoing business risk figures in 2025.
Operational revenue expanded by nearly 10%, from around £393 million to over £429 million, but was negated by an 8% increase in logistical overheads, totalling £15 million.
The document refrains from naming specific board members, however, the figures make clear that Domenicali is the company’s highest-earning director.
The F1 CEO — who also heads the operational division of under-parent company Liberty Media — received a package that accounted for over half the £13.3 million paid out collectively to Formula 1 executives.
However, the Companies House annual report notes that Domenicali’s borderline £8 million earnings cannot be considered his baseline salary.
That is likely to sit at approximately £6 million; in 2024, the highest-earning F1 executive raked in £8.765 million, with a baseline salary of closer to £7 million.

How does Domenicali’s £8 million package compare to other high-ranking sports executives?
Infantino’s European peer, UEFA President Aleksander Ceferin, was revealed to have made nearly £3 million for the year of 2023-24.
The Premier League’s Chief Executive received a similar figure, with Richard Masters netting around £2.6 million for 2024-25.
Across the Atlantic, Dana White earns one of the sporting world’s highest salaries. The CEO is estimated to make between £14-40 million annually in his UFC-leading ventures.
In an also staggering payout, NFL commissioner Roger Goodell reportedly earned just under £24 million for each of the 2019-20 and 20-21 seasons.
And the NBA’s man-at-the-helm, Adam Silver, draws in slightly less than his fellow American, earning an estimated £10 million annually.
Current PGA Tour chief executive Brian Rolapp's annual payout is unknown; however, his predecessor, Jay Monahan, earned a baseline salary of £1.5 million. That figure was compounded significantly by a series of bonuses, which brought his yearly package to around £18.4 million.
