ZERO Manchester United players would get into Manchester City's team right now, says Shaun Wright-Phillips who has put forward a potential case for one Man United ace.

Wright-Phillips insists the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo and Bruno Fernandes would NOT get into Man City's team.

And he reckons Anthony Elanga would be the only Man United player who could get into Man City's star-studded side.

Asked if any current Man United stars could make their way into Pep Guardiola's team, the 40-year-old bluntly told FreeSuperTips: "No not really.

"I would have said before [Cristiano] Ronaldo went off the boil that he could get into a City team.

"I haven't seen Bruno Fernandes in the way that we have seen him in the last year, so honestly, I don't think anyone would walk into City's team."

Wright-Phillips, though, singled out Elanga who has performed heroics this season.

"The only one who would be the closest is Elanga right now," he added.

Elanga, 19, has been the breakout talent of Ralf Rangnick's reign, having impressed in the Premier League and Champions League.

He's played 15 goals in all competitions and has scored three goals this term, including a vital strike against Atletico Madrid.

As for Ronaldo, who has gone off the boil per Wright-Phillips - he's struggled for form, having scored just one goal since the turn of the new year.

He has 15 goals in all competitions to his name since returning to Old Trafford last summer.

Bruno Fernandes, meanwhile, has failed to replicate his showings from last year, but has impressed recently - scoring against Leeds United and creating Elanga's goal in Europe.

How many Man United players would get into Man City's team? Let us know.
