Borussia Dortmund's young star Youssoufa Moukoko scored an incredible goal to open the scoring against Bochum.

Moukoko, 17, has built a reputation in recent years as being one of the most exciting young talents in Europe.

He proved that once again today, as he showed strength, composure and incredible quality to open the scoring from distance.

Dortmund are in the top four and have already qualified for the knockout stages of the Champions League, but they're also going strong in the league, as they sit three points off leaders Bayern Munich.

Last season was his first full season as part of the first-team squad, as he managed three goals and two assists in 24 appearances across all competitions.

This season has seen him improve on that already, as he's produced five goals and six assists in only 19 games.

Today's goal was a brilliant solo effort, topped off with an unstoppable strike from distance which stands as perhaps his best goal to date as a senior player.

It may even top the last-gasp equaliser he scored to draw level with Bayern earlier this season, but whatever the case, he's certainly begun to show his true qualities this season so far.

There's no surprise that the likes of Paris Saint-Germain, Barcelona and Liverpool are being linked with a move for the young star.

He also has six goals in five games for Germany's U21 side, but is yet to receive his first senior cap.

Moukoko has broken a whole host of records already due to his age, such as being the youngest player in Champions League history at the age of 16 years and 18 days.

He did the same in the Bundesliga as well just a day after turning 16, and he now holds those two incredible records that will take some beating.

He stood out as a youth player with an incredible Moukoko scored 141 goals in just 88 games for Dortmund's U17 and U19 sides.
