WWE legend Hulk Hogan can no longer feel his legs and requires a cane to walk after undergoing surgery on his back.

The 69-year-old made a return to WWE Monday, where he opened the 30th anniversary show in Philadelphia.

His iconic music hit and the six-time WWE champion made his usual entrance, complete with his trademark glasses and feather boa.

But while Hogan didn't appear to be in any discomfort as he addressed the WWE fans, Kurt Angle, who also at the show claims he was using a cane to walk.

Angle says he and Hogan discussed his health in a half hour conversation backstage and he explained that the nerves from his lower body have been cut and he "can't feel anything".

“Hogan had his back surgery again,” Hogan revealed on The Kurt Angle Show.

“He had the nerves cut from his lower body. He can’t feel his lower body. So let’s use his cane to walk around. I thought he was using the cane because he had pain in his back. He doesn’t have any pain. He has nothing at all. He can’t feel anything.

“So now he can’t feel his legs. So he has to walk with a cane which is, you know, that’s pretty serious, man.

“I mean, I really feel for Hogan. He put his heart and soul into the business and ate him up.

“I mean, if you’re gonna kick off the show, the 30th anniversary of Raw, [it] should be Hulk Hogan. He’s the name and face of the company. He’s the guy that revolutionised pro wrestling. I have so much respect for him.”

In 2020, Hogan revealed he had undergone his tenth back surgery after the wear and tear on his body following a lengthy wrestling career.

Hogan's last match in WWE was against Randy Orton at Summerslam 2006 but he continued to wrestle for IMPACT wrestling until 2013.

The Immortal One is a two-time WWE Hall of Famer and widely considered to be one of the biggest stars in the history of the business.
