Footage has emerged showing Cristiano Ronaldo’s hilarious reaction to his own drawing of Portugal teammate Pepe.

On Monday night, the Portuguese national team posted a video on social media, with their players tasked with drawing each other.

Joao Felix was hard done by Ruben Dias, whilst Manchester United defender Diego Dalot showed he is not the best of drawers.

However, the funniest moment came when Ronaldo was tasked with drawing centre-back Pepe. The 37-year-old was laughing uncontrollably when showing Pepe the drawing. You can watch the brilliant footage below.

Pepe then butchered his attempt at drawing Ronaldo’s face as the defender deliberately drew an exaggerated Adam’s apple on Ronaldo.

Coming into the World Cup, Ronaldo has been making all the headlines after he did an explosive interview with Piers Morgan, which was released last week.

During the interview, Ronaldo went in all United, former boss Ralf Rangnick, current manager Erik ten Hag and ex-teammates such as Wayne Rooney and Gary Neville.

Speaking ahead of the tournament, Ronaldo said he doesn’t regret the timing of the interview.

He said: “In my life, the best timing is always my timing. I don't have to think about what other people think. I speak when I want. The players know me really well for many years and know the type of person I am.

“It’s an ambitious group that is hungry and focused. So I’m sure it won’t shake the changing room’s concentration and focus.”

After missing Portugal’s pre-tournament friendly match, Ronaldo insists he is ready to play.

He added: “I feel good. I had a small problem, but I'm already recovered. We've been doing good training, and I feel prepared to start the World Cup in the best way. I'm fine.

“I believe we have enormous potential. I believe [we can win] and I have that feeling, but we have to start well with Ghana, which is the hardest.”

Portugal will kick off their World Cup campaign against Ghana on Thursday, before facing Uruguay and South Korea.
