Vegedream was cooking up another anthem if France won the World Cup, it's just as catchy

He released "Ramenez la coupe à la maison" after France won the World Cup in 2018.

It has emerged that Vegedream – the artist who released 'Ramenez la coupe à la maison' after France lifted the 2018 World Cup – had another anthem prepared ahead of Sunday's final.

Didier Deschamps' side failed in their efforts to scoop a second consecutive World Cup trophy.

Despite a hat-trick from Golden Boot winner Kylian Mbappe, the reigning champions couldn't beat Argentina on penalties after coming back from 2-0 down during normal time.

It was a devastating night for many, including French artist Vegedream, who was cooking up another banger in the hope of France lifting this year's prize. Here's a 45-second teaser of that song.

Featuring the likes of Antoine Griezmann and Dayot Upamecano, let's hope Vegedream decides to release it anyway because that's a seriously catchy tune.

The French hip hop artist, who was responsible for the World Cup 2018 anthem that reached number one in the French Singles Chart, posted the above clip on his Snapchat story.

Some lines from the song include “Even in midfield… Antoine Griezmann” and "Upamecanoooo, Upamecanooooo, Upamecanooo, it's Upamecano Dayot."

He posted a conversation with Atletico Madrid forward Griezmann on his Instagram story after France's defeat. It read: "The atmosphere is us and no one else!!!! We'll be back."

Here's how fans reacted to VEGEDREAM's unreleased anthem.

One said: "The people demand this sound.. the people deserve to sing Upamecano," while another commented: "Vegedream was cooking up the remix of the century man. The streaming numbers would’ve gone through the roof."

A third wrote: "Vegedream was about to go back to back with the France team classics."

It's been four years since France beat Croatia at the Stade de France, which in turn created one of football's most viewed clips.

The likes of N'Golo Kante, Kylian Mbappe and Paul Pogba danced around the 81,000 capacity stadium as the official World Cup song 'Ramenez La Coupe a La Maison' was performed.

It didn't take long for the home of French football soon to erupt into a cauldron of noise when Kante was lifted on the shoulders of Blaise Matuidi.
