TikToker makes 'US soccer team' comprised of other sports stars, LeBron James is the goalkeeper

A football fan over in America has thrown together his dream starting XI for the United States.

But there's a catch – his all-star squad consists of athletes from other sporting codes.

So yes, that means the likes of LeBron James is between the sticks with Ja Morant leading the line as the team's target man.

Rather unsurprisingly, the fan's team is going viral online.

Even his detailed explanations for their positions are pure gold!

"If soccer was the number one sport in this country, we would be s***ting on everybody! This is my starting eleven," TikTiker Kieran says to open his video.

"At goalkeeper I've got LeBron James. The man is 6-foot-9 and one of the most gifted athletes the world has ever seen. Plus he loves telling people what to do, that's my captain."

In the heart of his defence, he has Dallas Cowboys defensive end Micah Parsons and Tennessee Titans running back Derrick Henry.

"Good luck winning a header in the box against those two," Kieran explained.

And to complete his back four, he has selected NFL Pro Bowl cornerbacks Trevon Diggs and Jalen Ramsey as his rapid overlapping right and left back respectively.

"This season this man has locked up Justin Jefferson, Ja'Marr Chase, AJ Brown and Mike Evans. Do you think he's worried about Kylian Mbappe?!"

Screening the defence is Minkah Fitzpatrick as the holding midfielder.

The hard-hitting Pittsburgh Steelers free safety never shies away from a tackle and absolutely loves an intercept of his own.

As his attacking midfielders, Kieran has opted for the greatest ever three-point shooter Steph Curry and a former NFL MVP in Lamar Jackson.

"Steph Curry is going to burying 30-yard free kicks like it's absolutely nothing," he said of his box-to-box midfielder.

As for his No.10, Kieran explained: "Lamar Jackson is one of the most naturally gifted ball distributors in the league right now."

Making the cut on the wing is NFL speedster Tyreek Hill and 'genuine soccer prodigy' Odell Beckham Jr.

And pulling on the No.9 shirt is Ja Morant, who most Premier League defenders would perhaps have trouble winning the aerial battle with.

"No one comes within two goals of this team," Kieran concluded.

"And it's called 'soccer'! Such your mom."
