PSG Set To Make Big Bid For New Neymar Partner

PSG Set To Make Big Bid For New Neymar Partner

The French side clearly aren't done spending and are hoping to create their own version of MSN with Neymar as the centrepiece.

Remember when Financial Fair Play was a thing? PSG have clearly forgotten. After spending just short of £200 million on Neymar they're about to spend more money on a new striker.

Once upon-a-time UEFA put a bunch of rules in place that I never understood in order to stop teams spending too much.

Admittedly the rules were to stop clubs 'doing a Portsmouth or Leeds' and end up bankrupting themselves by spending more money than they had in the pursuit of success.

But you'd have thought that along the way they'd have also put the dampeners on the super rich spending ridiculous amounts of money, foolish thoughts clearly.

Well with the mega spending that is now commonplace and Neymar's move from Barcelona that has completely gone out of the window,

And, according to the Independent, the French side are ready to bid more than £80 million to sign Alexis Sanchez from Arsenal and add him to their strikeforce with their Brazilian signing.

Sanchez' contract at the Emirates only has one year left on it and has so far shown no sign of putting pen to paper on the deal on the table for him.

However Arsene Wenger has been steadfast in his belief that the Chilean won't be leaving the Gunners this summer, although that's hardly the first time he's said that about one of his players.

For most of the transfer window it has been expected that the former Barcelona winger would be leaving with Manchester City and PSG the two most likely destinations.

There are reports that Sanchez prefers a move north to Manchester to join up with Pep Guardiola but if they must sell there's no doubt Arsenal would prefer to sell him south to Paris.

Kylian Mbappe also remains high up on PSG's list of potential signings as Unai Emery's team are dedicated to adding another forward to their team this summer.

The newspaper also report that the player could stay at Arsenal for one more year and Guardiola is also willing to wait for him till then if he needed to.
